随着天王Lil Wayne第四张录音室专辑的出现，Young Money Cash Money旗下的“二当家”Drake紧接着也将在11月5日交出自己第二份答卷--推出自己第二张正式录音室专辑《Take Care》，这张专辑前期可谓吵的沸沸扬扬，同名EP和几首热门单曲在网络上大量的宣传和推广。当然，现在一张好的说唱专辑少不了大牌云集，不但合作嘉宾要到位，制作人也要精挑细选。主打单曲《Headlines》收到不错的反响，和同门师妹Nicki Minaj合作的《Make Me Proud》和女王Rihanna合作的重磅专辑同名单曲《Take Care》也展现出Drake的制作水准和说唱才华，和加拿大的Indie制作团体the weeknd合作的《Crew Love》也在pitchfork等indie门户网站上颇受好评，此举能看出Drake是十分有头脑的，不但主流市场要留下自己的名字，同时Indie界也要打开自己的一片市场。

这位加拿大说唱歌手在新专辑中和多位大牌歌手合作，其中包括了：R&B歌手The Weeknd合作的《Crew Love》、迈阿密说唱歌手里克罗斯（Rick Ross）合作的《Lord Knows》、与美国当红嘻哈二人组合Outkast的成员Andre 3000、李尔韦恩合唱的《The Real Her》等等。
除了收录了与小天后蕾哈娜 (Rihanna)合作的《Take Care》以及美国人气歌手尼基米娜(Nicki Minaj)合作的《Make Me Proud》等17首全新单曲外，还将收录了与知名饶舌歌手李尔韦恩（Lil Wayne）合作的《Untitled》以及《Hate Sleeping Alone》附加曲目，对此，Drake日前接受媒体采访时表示道：“在这次的新专辑，我负责了大部分的创作。我希望能够展现自己更自信的一面，在新专辑我也会让看到我最感性的一面。那就好像明天就是世界末日，我也会继续坚持自己的选择。尽管这只是一个开玩笑，但我会继续追求这样的信念。”
