开关柜应满足GB3906-1991"3-35 kV交流金属封闭开关设备"标准的有关要求，由柜体和断路器二大部分组成，开关柜具有架空进出线、电缆进出线、母线联络等功能。柜体由壳体、电器元件(包括绝缘件)、各种机构、二次端子及连线等组成。 MCset中压开关柜是一种“全部SF6化”的开关设备，具有组合功能和小型化的特点。该密封式全绝缘的装置单元，组成中压/低压配电站内的中压元件，RM6组装所有的中压回路在一个金属外壳内，并能连接至变压器，对其进行供电和保护或连接到下一级电网。RM6完全满足中国GB标准，已通过西安型式试验。
