Stevie Hoang祖籍中国，会说广东话。在日本被成为“R&B界の口コミ王子”，所谓“口コミ”就是“街谈巷议，口头流传，有口碑的”的意思，因为他最初的身份是独立音乐制作人，发布歌曲都是通过My Space和Youtube，可以解释为中国所说的“网络歌手”。07年的首张独立专辑「This Is Me」融合了很多中国民族音乐元素，完全可以和R&B大牌Ne-Yo匹敌。2008年9月以这张专辑攻陷日本，当时在ORICON上的排名是No.72，销量累计4万张。Stevie Hoang今年7月签约了环球唱片公司，唱片发行方是AvexTrax，即将在9月16日发行的第二张作品「ALL NIGHT LONG」，除了一路擅长抒情婉约系R&B风格外，最引人关注的应该是「Make It To The End 」了，因为这首歌曲是东方神起「どうして君を好きになってしまったんだろう？」的英文翻唱版，也是绝佳上品！赞赞赞~
