剧情
匈牙利导演安德烈德托特（André De Toth）代表作。1942年的埃及，英军特种部队上尉受命率六名官兵外加两名阿拉伯人乔装德军突击爆破德军燃料库的冒险行动：队员们都听命于另一上尉，为灭口而杀戮无辜的阿拉伯人，为自保而忍看英军车队遭德军伏杀，三名队员强奸被俘德军护士未遂，在沙漠风暴中穿越地雷阵袭击假燃料库，当找到真燃料库时行动实际上已被取消……最后，死里逃生的两名上尉还在举着白旗出来投降时被英军士兵击毙……跌宕起伏，精彩纷呈，内涵丰富，视角独特。人物塑造、气氛营造亦相当出色。
有混同于的意大利电影《戴罪立功》（Quel Maledetto，1977）者，以二者皆有“亡命七金刚”之中译别名也。
