中国人民大学教师（主要研究领域：思想库、政治传播、公共外交、环境传播）。中国环境资源网媒介总监（2001-至今），美国布鲁金斯学会访问学者（2007-2008），中国国际经济交流中心研究员（2009），曾担任中国国际广播电台《国际电视新闻》记者、主持人（1998-2006）。《全球领导力》、《绿媒体－中国环保传播研究》、《舆论学概论》作者。清华大学传播学博士、传播学硕士，中国传媒大学文学学士、清华大学高盛集团前总裁约翰桑顿教授“全球领导力”项目成员。2001年，获得全球福特环保奖。2009年，获得搜狐网及其网民授予的“年度智慧女性”奖，同年获得时尚COSMO 评选的“年度时尚女性”奖

LILI WANG

Lili Wang is a Visiting Research Fellow at the John L. Thornton China Center of the Foreign Policy Program at the Brookings Institution. She is also a member of Global Leadership Program, under the direction of John L. Thornton, at Tsinghua University. In addition, she is the co-founder and the Vice President for External Relation of China Environmental Resource Network (CERN). CERN is a leading environment NGO in China devoted to improve environmental awareness through media communication.

Lili Wang received Ph.D in journalism and communication from Tsinghua University in 2010. She received an M.A. in journalism at Tsinghua in 2005 and received B.A. in Journalism at China Media University in 1998.

Previously, Lili Wang was a journalist and anchorwoman. She worked for China central media, CCTV and CRI from 1998 to 2005 and has received many awards for her professional contributions.

In 2001, she co-founded CERN and won the Ford Environment Protection Prize for her contribution to improve public environmental awareness in China. In 2005, she published a book entitled Green Media—Environmental Communication in China. This book was regarded as the first academic book on China environmental communication area, and was reported and cited by Xinhua News, China’s most influential media agency and by other media as well.

Lili Wang is also the co-author of Global Leadership (2005), an influential book in the well-educated China elite circle. Her academic writings and Op-Ed have appeared in many leading media such as China Daily, Xinhua Newspaper, Journalism and Writing Magazine, China Environment Magazine, Beijing Movie Academic Magazine and USA QiaoBao. Recently, her Op-Ed entitled, It’s the time to take an objective view of china was published and highlighted by China Daily Newspaper on August 9, 2008.
