杜德桥


杜德桥 (Glen Dudbridge) 教授,英国著名的汉学家。

主要经历:

1938年出生于英国的Clevedon, Somerset。

1962年于剑桥大学获得学士学位。

1963年至1964年就读于香港新亚研究所(New Asia Institute of Advanced Chinese Studies)。

1967年于牛津大学获得博士学位。

1965年至1985年任牛津大学讲师(lecturer)。

1985年被剑桥大学委任为教授。

1989年起任牛津大学教授、汉学系主任(Director of the Institute for Chinese Studies)。

现为牛津大学荣休教授,并兼任英国学术院中国组主席、当代亚洲研究委员会主席等职。
